Good Faith Estimate
As of January 1, 2022, under the No Surprises Act, healthcare providers must provide a Good Faith Estimate of healthcare charges to every new or continuing patient who is uninsured or who does not intend to use their insurance benefits. This estimate includes a summary of the anticipated total cost of treatment. The law is designed to protect consumers from unexpected or “surprise” medical bills. You will be provided with a Good Faith Estimate as part of your initial paperwork prior to beginning counseling.
